My name is Kelsey. I am a lover of all things music, tea, rope shoes, vitamins, arab, organic, down bedding, children’s books, and the color green.

I am a photographer.  I fell in love with photojournalism.. the ability to capture a realistic moment in time that could tell a story all on its own. Regardless of language, location, or culture, a photograph that speaks volumes of emotion and shares a deeper meaning that other senses cannot express.

I stumbled in and out of running a child and newborn photography business starting in 2007, which was definitely fun. However, I am not. cut. out. for. that.   I knew I wouldn’t do it forever, but it was an experience and a great hobby for a few years. I am now pursuing my true passion of photojournalism and several other passions too.  *Currently, I just use this blog as a form of expression.

What does farah blues mean?  Farah is Arabic for Joy – which is my middle name, and blues is a genre of one of my favorite types of music. and jazz.
