Gotta get used to all of the extra feet underneath me when i crawl/fall out of bed now

The Golden Key. aka the key that opens everything. that if lost would be detrimental. gets me in the building, in my room, and my mailbox!

I have been trying to keep a blog for about two years now. Ha! It never really seemed to work out.. kinda like all of the hot pink princess diaries I bought when I was 7 – and attempted to journal all of my ‘top secrety’ secrets in. While they were ever so cute decked out in jewels with matching raspberry scented ink, I usually got to about page… umm, 4, and… the rest of the pages saw no pink ink.
This Blog will be different! 13 years later, here I am starting my life. This time for real, minus the frills and sequins. And as serious as I am about my new beginning, I am equally as serious about keeping this fun new photo bloggy blog. I am too excited.
I am a photographer. this we all know. I dipped a bit into the business side – capturing newborns and children and some families. (my favorites always being the newbies) And although that was a lovely experience, I always knew that that was Not for me, and that while I enjoyed capturing the beauty and essence of children, I only wanted it temporarily. It was fun.
i Moved away. away to college to major in photojournalism. I am starting this photoblog to help keep up with the people I left behind and also to document my new beginning and the steps I take along the way. This is something new and fresh, just like a lot of other things coming my way lately. Check back ever so often so you can come along too.
& i’ll end with a simple photo from a short hike in the Smoky Mountains

Hey girl! I’m the first to comment?? Wow! Your blog is so gorgeous!! I’ll be stopping by, just to breathe in the beautiful views. Congrats on your new beginning in Kentucky. Love you!
you are so much more than gorgeous and ridiculously entertaining in print. (and in real life)
Decided to stalk you to see what you’re up to now a days. I was pleasantly surprised.
btw, I still do the thing with the journals. but they’re for you.
if 4 pages is all you need, then fine. one day when you need to work on page 5, it will be there waiting for you.
I hope you’re doing well. know that I think of you from time to time.
